Charles “Mike” Granade, M.D., is an orthopeadic surgeon specializing in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. With an extensive educational background and specialized training, Dr. Granade is dedicated to providing expert care and advanced treatment options for joint-related conditions.

Dr. Granade completed his undergraduate education at the College of Charleston where he majored in Biochemisty. He then advanced his studies at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.Play

Dr. Granade continued his medical education at the University of South Carolina Greenville, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree with Magna Cum Laude honors. During medical school, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society, a mark of his academic distinction and commitment to excellence in medicine.

His orthopaedic residency training was completed at the University of Louisville, where he developed expertise in a wide range of orthopaedic procedures. Following his residency training, Dr. Granade pursued a fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty at Houston Methodist, focusing on advanced surgical techniques and innovative treatment options in hip and knee replacement.

Outside of work, Dr. Granade enjoys spending his time outdoors with his wife and dog, as well as hiking and golfing.
